This is an approved ministry of the Augustinians of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Men and women of faith, we live in our own homes, or in small groups, are self-supporting, work our own jobs in various fields, but live in Community of Spirit and Faith with yearly gatherings and monthly Chapter calls.  Following the Rule of our Holy Father St. Augustine, we are under the jurisdiction of Bishop Tim Cravens of the Independent Catholic Christian Church.
Hello,
My name is Friar Shane Nicholas Neese, AIHM
Although I've always known I was to serve God's people as a Religious, I ran from it...not because I didn't want to serve God or his people, but because I couldn't do it in good faith without feeling like a hypocrit. I ran so far that I ended up right back where I started from - only a bit older and I hope, a bit wiser.

In August of this year (2010), I made my First Profession of the Evangelical Counsels. Thanks be to God!!  But the journey doesn't end there, that is only a beginning.
My ministry is praying for the Holy Souls and for Intercessory Prayer. So every day I pray for everyone who has asked for prayers as well as for those souls that have gone on before us.
Prayer requests are also passed on to the entire Order so that everyone is praying.

Mass requests are also welcome, although a specific date may not be possible without plenty of notice. Offerings are welcome, but NOT required. You will be notified of the date of the Mass - if an email is provided.
Also, we ask that you pray for us as we pray and work for the people of God. Pray for vocations to the Order as well as for our continued following of the Holy Spirit. This is a journey we walk together.

Each of us has a vocation - whether it's to serve God as a wife or husband, or as a single person, or a single person in a committed relationship, or even as celebate. And within each of those vocations there are a myriad of nuances that make each of our callings uniquely our own.

I encourage each and everyone of you to pray about your vocation and then follow your heart. God will lead - we just have to follow. Many people I know agonize over whether they are to be single or married or whatever...and my advise is always this: "Pray about it, then follow your heart. The only mistake we make with our vocation is being stagnant." And yes, I finally decided to take my own advice.

Once we start moving forward, God will take over the driving (this does not apply to motor vehicles!!)

If you feel that you have a vocation to the Religious life ( and it truly is a blessed life), send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Our Vocation is something that is uniquely our own, but the journey is one we all share and help each other with.
